Easy installation
The Quasar can be easily installed in either a wall or ceiling. Suitable to extract air directly outside or through a short length ducting.
Long lasting performance
High quality long lasting casing absorbs impact and vibrations to reduce noise. The Quasar is suitable for continuous and intermittent running. Angled guide vanes to improve efficiency and reduce noise.
Protection
Quasar 2SBB and Quasar N BB contain internal thermal protection and are double insulated so no earth connection is required.
Quality and testing
All units are to be tested to ISO 5801:2007 (Airflow) and ISO 3741:2010 (Noise)
Warranty
Each Quasar Series fan comes with a 5 year manufacturer warranty as standard.
Specification
Construction
Fan housing made from high quality technopolymer which is shock proof and long lasting. Finished in white RAL 9010 and UV Resistant, the Quasar Series is built suit a wide range of applications. Includes a backdraft shutter that prevents outside air entering building when fan is switched off. Built in spigot support to prevent distortion with strengthened guard to maximise airflow.
Motor
Single-phase induction motor with integral thermal protection, mounted on sealed for life high quality sleeve bearings, requiring an electricity supply of 220-240V, 50/60Hz. Due to use in damp areas, the motor is class II insulated with an ingress protection rating of IP45. High quality ball bearing motor for fan life of more than 30,000 hours.
Impeller
The Quasar Series uses a highly efficient impeller providing enhanced aerodynamic properties, low noise levels and increased efficiency.
